Frequently Asked Questions

  • What type of church are you?

We are all about connecting our community to Christ. We want to become a foundational part of our great community of Katy, TX and to be a true blessing to our city. We connect to Christ by gathering on Sundays, growing in Community Groups throughout the week, giving of our time and resources for the greater good and going out into the world with the good news of Jesus’ love.

We are a group of people from every walk of life seeking to connect our community to Christ. So come as you are and bring friends and family without worry. We come from many different denominations, beliefs, and cultures. You are welcome here no matter where you are on your faith journey. Find common ground.

  • What is a service like?

Our service starts at 10:30am and is designed for the entire family. The music will be engaging and teaching will be Bible-based and relevant to your life! Our band plays a variety of styles. Sometimes it’s an acoustic set, sometimes a full band. We play new songs, more seasoned ones and even throw some hymns in the mix. We want to give everyone an opportunity to worship God through singing on Sunday mornings.

Teaching will be centered on the Gospel, practical and relevant to all. Our sermon series’ focus on the Word of God and bringing the Gospel into our lives. We understand that everyone in attendance is at a different part of their faith journey, so our teaching and preaching takes into account the diversity of our listeners.

We also have Bible Studies for all ages - Nursery/Preschool, Kids, Youth, and Adults - at 9:30am. Feel free to join us!

  • Will it be awkward?

    Yes! Just kidding. No! :)

When you join us you are free to engage and participate at the level you are comfortable with. You can engage as little or as much as want. We do like to greet people around here and we have a gift for our first time visitors. Introverts and extroverts alike are welcome!

  • How can I meet others and get connected?

Our mission is to connect our community to Christ. You can get connected in four different ways: attending our service on Sundays, coming to a newcomers event, joining a community group, or signing up to serve on a serve team. If you’re wondering where to start, take the first step and join us on Sunday.

It's okay to ask questions!

We don't have all the answers but we'd love to wrestle with those questions with you.
