Every Sunday in December, join us at 10:30am at Common Ground Community Church as we take time to see that Jesus came to earth to exchange our hurt, sorrow, short-comings, pain, and grief for his peace, forgiveness, hope, joy, and eternal life.
This Christmas, will you exchange your wants to help fulfill others needs? We will also be collecting items to support local ministries all month. Join us! Check out all the details below 👇
DECEMBER 1ST
9:30am - Breakfast Sunday (no other programming)
10:30am - "The Greatest Gift Exchange Ever"
As we introduce our new sermon series, you'll get an "Exchange Kit" that will have all you need to help support our local ministries this month. Every family can participate, we encourage you to get involved with your family!
DECEMBER 8TH
9:30am - All Ages Bible Studies
10:30am - "Exchange Your Worry For His Peace"
This week, we're looking at how Jesus provides peace in the midst of our stress and worry.
Supporting the Pregnancy Help Center
We will be collecting diapers and wipes for the Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston. All sizes are needed!
DECEMBER 15TH
9:30am - All Ages Bible Studies
10:30am - "Exchange Your Hurt For His Healing"
This week, we will learn that even when we are hurting - either from our own decisions or the effects of others - Jesus can provide real healing - not just a band-aid.
Supporting Katy Christian Ministries
We will be collecting cold weather clothing items for Katy Christian Ministries. Bring coats, socks, gloves, sweaters, etc. Can be new or gently used.
DECEMBER 22ND
9:30am - All Ages Bible Studies
10:30am - "Exchange Your Sorrow For His Joy"
This week, we will learn how joy is different from happiness - and how Jesus can trade your sorrows for the joy of the Lord!
Supporting Hope Impacts
We will be collecting hygiene packs for Hope Impacts. Pack in a gallon or quart plastic bags: sample size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, soap, q-tips, tissues, chapstick, foot powder, and other personal hygiene items.
